The Sixth Regional Conference on Medical Journals in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMMJ6) will be held in Shiraz, Irant from 18 to 20 February 2015. Five previous conferences in Egypt (2003), Saudi Arabia (2004), Iran (2006), Bahrain (2008) and Pakistan (2010) raised awareness on issues relating to quality, publishing ethics, peer review and indexing of health science journals in the Region. Editors of health science journals, as well as others involved in publishing health science journals in the Region are invited to participate.

ABCD is dedicated to improving the quality of life of those children and young adults who suffer from physical, mental and psychological disabilities in Palestine/The Occupied Territories and the Gaza Strip. ABCD sponsors treatment for those in need regardless of gender, race or creed, helping them to reach their full potential, to live life with dignity and to take their rightful place in their community. ABCD works through Palestinian partners, the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) based in Beit Jala, The Sheepfold in Beit Sahour and two UNWRA Refugee Camps in Jalazone and Nour Shams.
